What insurance policies do you accept?

We work (cooperate) with virtually all insurance companies.  We are participating (contracting) providers with most insurance companies’ preferred provider programs.  If your policy is a designated DMO (HMO) type of policy you will have to seek your care at the facility designated by your insurance carrier in order to be covered your insurance.  We will be happy to help you with any questions you might have about your insurance coverage, but your very best information is usually obtained from your employer’s HR department or your Union Steward.

Is parking available?

There are ample free on street parking spots (one hour limited) along Manchester Blvd. and several unlimited-time parking spots on Sepulveda just North of Manchester on the East side of Sepulveda.  Adjacent residential areas with free parking are close by.

On site parking in our building is very reasonable costing $ 1.00 per half hour and $ 6.00 per day maximum.  Access to building parking is on Sepulveda going north.

Do you have Saturday appointments?

We work on selected Saturdays each month.  We have a dental hygienist available on these Saturdays.

What services do you provide?

We are a comprehensive family general dental office.  We offer most forms of restorative dental care including cosmetic crowns, veneers, bleaching, fillings, bridges, dentures, implants.  Dr. Hook does superb root canal treatment for a general dentist and some oral surgery.

Our office offers preventive dental care, bruxism night guards, athletic sports guards, cleanings, fluoride treatments, limited periodontal therapy and some orthodontic treatment.  Dr. Hook has a large number of expert specialists with whom he will confer and coordinate in order to see that you receive the proper information and best treatment available for your particular situation.

What type of payment methods do you accept?

Well, cash of course, but we do accept Visa and MasterCard.  There is a very popular outside financing plan that many of our patients are utilizing called CareCredit.  It is a method wherein you can make a limited number of monthly payments, three, six and even twelve months with no interest charge and no fee.  We can help you apply and there is no cost to you and a surprising number of our patients are accepted into this plan.  Ask us about it.

Do you speak any foreign languages?

Yes, we speak Spanish.

What is your policy on canceled appointments?
