Stephen H. Hook, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Steve Hook is a native Southern Californian, born at St. John's Hospital and educated at The University of Southern California.  He has practiced in Culver City since 1975 and has extensive experience in most areas of Dental Care especially, prosthetics, root canals, restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

• Served in the US Navy Dental Corps, was a dental officer during the Viet Nam war aboard the USS Hancock an aircraft carrier (CVA-19).
• Has taught part time at USC School of Dentistry for over 25 years.
• He was National President of Psi Omega Dental Fraternity in its' centennial year. 
• Is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) a title only awarded after extensive additional education and passing a certifying exam.
• Member of the American and California Dental Associations.**

Dr. Hook is very active in his church, Culver Palms United Methodist, where he has been Lay Leader, a teacher in Adult Education and is presently president of the Administrative Council.  Dr. Hook has studied voice for over ten years and is a featured soloist singing Baritone. He has sung with the Temple Akiba choir during High Holy Days for the past ten years.   He's a lousy poker player, but can hold his own in Trivial Pursuit and loves popular oldies especially Simon and Garfunkel.
